Payments

Take card payments through your Adyen merchant account.

Connect your Adyen credential and merchant account. Every checkout on the site opens a single-use Adyen payment page that expires with the order's hold, and the money settles into your account with no fee added by Cliux.

The Payment setup screen in the site console, with the payment providers a site can connect.

How you connect

Where Adyen is switched on

The screen, the path to it in the sidebar, and what happens when you press the button. Nothing else to install.

Site console

  1. Payments & Sales
  2. Setup & Connect

Press Connect. Paste the credential and the merchant account from your Adyen Customer Area, and the key of the webhook you create for the address the screen shows. Cliux checks them with Adyen and stores them encrypted.

Agency console

  1. Launchpad
  2. Connect payments

Press Connect. The agency's own account, for the invoices it sends to clients, from the same panel on the Launchpad.

Pay by Link

A payment page that lives exactly as long as the hold.

Each checkout is a single-use Adyen payment page set to expire when the order's stock, seat or slot is let go, so a buyer cannot pay for something that is no longer held for them. Only methods that settle while the buyer waits are offered.

  • Every one-off checkout

Orders, tickets, bookings, packages, gifts and invoices.

  • Expires with the hold

The page stops taking payment when the order stops being held.

  • Signed notifications

Each notification is checked against your webhook's key before it is used.

Not included

Said plainly, so you can decide

What this connection does not do today. If one of these is the thing you need, tell us through the contact form; the list is prioritised from those requests.

Subscriptions
Adyen does not run membership plans, recurring bookings or monthly gifts here. Those use Stripe or PayPal on the same site.
A payment form on the page
Buyers pay on Adyen's hosted page; no Adyen form is embedded in the site.
Split payments
A payment goes to one merchant account; there is no splitting between accounts.
Refunds without the webhook key
Adyen tells the site the payment reference only in its notifications, so refunds need the webhook key connected.
