Payments

Take cards, iDEAL and Bancontact through Mollie.

Paste your Mollie key and every checkout on the site opens Mollie's hosted page, offering the methods that are paid while the buyer waits. The money settles into your Mollie account with no fee added by Cliux.

The Payment setup screen in the site console, with the payment providers a site can connect.

How you connect

Where Mollie is switched on

The screen, the path to it in the sidebar, and what happens when you press the button. Nothing else to install.

Site console

  1. Payments & Sales
  2. Setup & Connect

Press Connect. Paste the test or live key from your Mollie Dashboard; the key itself says which. Cliux checks it with Mollie, stores it encrypted and gives each payment its own notification address.

Agency console

  1. Launchpad
  2. Connect payments

Press Connect. The agency's own account, for the invoices it sends to clients, from the same panel on the Launchpad.

Instant methods

Methods that are paid, or not, while the buyer is on the page.

Mollie's page offers cards and the local methods that complete at once, such as iDEAL and Bancontact. Methods that finish days later are left out, so an order never completes against stock the site has already let go.

  • Cards and local methods

Card, Apple Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, EPS, Przelewy24 and more where your account has them.

  • Subscriptions

Membership plans, recurring bookings and monthly gifts, from a first payment that sets up the next ones.

  • Refunds from the console

A refund on the row goes back through Mollie on your account.

Only methods that settle while the buyer waits are offered at checkout.

Recurring payments

A first payment creates the mandate; the subscription then charges every period on Mollie.

Refunds from the console

Store orders, bookings, tickets and memberships refund from their own screens, through Mollie.

Read back, never believed

Mollie's notification carries only a payment id; the payment is read back from Mollie with your key before anything is settled.
